This year SER members will gather at the Sofitel Hotels & Resorts in Washington D.C. for their Annual Membership Meeting & 2024 Conference. Located in Lafayette Squre, the Sofitel is currently nominated for the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2024 and was voted as a Top Ten Hotel in Travel & Leisure's World's Best in 2023. Home to the Nation's Capital, downtown D.C. is full of history, attractions, shopping and dining including National Monuments & Memorials, as well as Museums & Art Galleries. Held over two days, the SER conference provides in-depth presentations and discussions related to experts' experiences in financial industry related dispute resolution, as well as one-on-one conversations and networking opportunities.

Early Registration Ends May 24th. Prices increase on May 25th and again on June 25th. 
 
Member Registration: The registered member fee includes participation in the annual membership meeting; all conference sessions; Friday lunch, cocktail hour, and dinner; and Saturday breakfast and lunch.

Spouse/Guest Registration: The spouse/guest registration fee includes Friday lunch, cocktail hour, dinner; Saturday breakfast. The fee does not include conference materials, attendance at any scheduled meetings or breaks or Saturday lunch. 

Spouse/Guest Lunch (Saturday): A Saturday event for spouse/guests to participate while members are in the conference sessions is in the planning. Details forthcoming.
 
Saturday Dinner: Members are highly encouraged to stay for dinner and the Saturday Keynote address at the prestigious Army Navy Country Club. Nestled within the privacy of more than 500 scenic acres less than five miles from downtown D.C., Army Navy Country Club combines the Club’s historic grandeur and traditional elegance with its welcoming warmth and modern amenities. Transportation will be provided both directions.
 
Non-Member Expert (Invitation Only): Potential members can request an invitation to attend the conference for a $100 premium. If the potential member joins SER after the conference, the $100 premium will be applied to the current year membership.
 
Registration Deadline: Early registration deadline is MAY 24, 2024. (see dates and price increases above).

Meeting Refund/Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received in writing on or before June 24, 2024, will receive a full refund less a $100 per person processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after June 24, 2024If SER cancels the conference for any reason at any time, SER members who have paid the registration fee will receive a 100% refund.

OVERNIGHT RESERVATION PROCESS: Once you have registered for the conference, please contact the hotel directly to reserve a room by using this customized link to reserve online. (Make sure to click all the way through to confirm your reservation.) You may also call their Reservations Department at (202) 730-8428. Please identify yourself as being with Securities Experts Roundtable to receive the contracted rate. Please advise the hotel of any accessible room requirements as soon as possible so that they may endeavor to fulfill your specific needs. We encourage members to stay at The Sofitel as we have committed contractually to these rooms. It also makes for easy access to all events!
 

RATES: Superior Double or King Room $249 + taxes/Luxury King Room $269 (City Taxes and State/Provincial Hotel Room Tax are currently 15.95%.) 
Complimentary WiFi included in rooms, space and public areas.

HOTEL CUTOFF DATE: A limited number of rooms have been blocked and availability is offered on a first come, first served basis. The cut-off date for accepting reservations into this room block is FRIDAY, JULY 6, 2024. Reservation requests exceeding the room block OR received after 5:00 PM local time at the Hotel on the cut-off date, will be accepted based on a space and rate available basis only. 

HOTEL CANCELLATION/EARLY DEPARTURE POLICY: Should you need to make changes or cancel your overnight room reservation, please contact the hotel at least 72 hours prior to the check-in time to avoid no-show fee OR an early departure fee. 
 
HOTEL CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is 3:00PM. The hotel will make every effort to accommodate attendees arriving before the check-in time, however, rooms may not be immediately available. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Requests to retain rooms beyond that hour should be directed to the Front Desk. If a late check-out is requested, a late departure charge may be applicable.
